Is it that time, when the Mercedes-Benz G-Class goes for the mandatory nip and tuck to keep it looking fresh and clean in a world of increasing competition? It sure sounds like it. With production of the current car set to end next year, potential customers have been concerned the replacement would be the fully-electric version that was recently announced by the company.

Fear not; the facelifted version will be on the streets in mid-2024. It should feature an updated front grille, some slight changes to the rear end and upgraded interior appointments. The powertrains are also expected to change slightly, with a possible plug-in Hybrid model joining the fray. We believe the 4.0-litre biturbo V8 will keep its place atop the pile in the G 63. Looking forward to the new face and updated engines.
