Nissan has not given us a small, entry-level sports car in decades. Not since the Exa in this country anyway. Now a big Nissan boss says he would like to see a small sports car join the company’s portfolio. There is small catch though (isn’t there always?).
Said catch is that it should be an electric sports car. Positioning will be below the 370 Z (pictured). With that particular segment known to be light and nimble, and electric cars being the opposite of that, it will be interesting to see how Nissan pulls it off. Anyways, according to the executive, this little dream performance vehicle would be affordable to people in their 20s (yay!), and be fun and engaging to drive too. Like a silent samurai. No possible timeline was mentioned.
