Stellantis global CEO Carlos Tavares had a great year in 2023. The man’s total compensation package rose from €23.46 million in 2022, to €36.49 million (about R750 million) last year. This after the company’s profit grew to €18.6 billion. Revenues were up 6% on 2022 figures, to €189.5 billion.

Tavares has grown the company quite noticeably since he took over the resigns in 2021. Before that – since 2014 –  he was CEO of PSA, one of the two pieces that would later merge to become Stellantis. Stellantis is now one of the top 5 car companies in the world in terms of sales. It owns brands like Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroen, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot, and RAM.
