Subaru has released these snaps of something it calls the WRX TR, which it says is a more focused WRX. Ever since the company stopped producing the hard core STI model, traditional fans of the brand have been walking away from it. Perhaps this WRX TR might lure some of them back.
Definitely not an STI, but hopefully it has more verve than the normal WRX we currently have. The car will be unveiled to the public soon. We don’t yet know where exactly the upgrades have been made, suffice to say aerodynamic pieces will surely be affected. We also hope the powertrain will gain more horses as well.
